She was Errol Flynn’s favorite leading lady…..they made 9 movies together. She is one of only thirteen actresses to win more than one Best Actress Oscar®. She was one of the most popular actresses in the 1930s and 1940s. She is the oldest living acting Oscar® winner….she took over that spot when Luis Rainier passed away last year. She was in my book, the best ever Maid Marian to ever appear on movie screens….1938’s The Adventures of Robin Hood. Shebwas one of the last surviving cast members of 1939’s Gone With The Wind. She was in the best killer bee movie ever made….ok….maybe The Swarm was not a career highlight for her. She was nominated for an Oscar® 5 times in her career.
That is one impressive resume for the latest Ultimate Movie Rankings page subject…..Olivia de Havilland. Olivia de Havilland (1916-2000) had 59 acting credits from 1935-1988. In the table below Ultimate Movie Rankings ranks 48 of her movies in 6 different sortable columns. Movies made for television, television appearances and cameos were not included in the rankings.

So sad ? she will be missed
Hey Jackie. I agree with you 100%, she is already missed. Thanks for checking out our Olivia de Havilland tribute pages. Rest in Peace.
R.I.P. Olivia.
Great actress
Thanks for checking out our tribute page. I agree with you…..A great actress! RIP
? Godspeed beautiful lady…???
Thank you Suzanne….nice thoughts on this sad day. RIP
Loved her and her acting since Captain Blood, and Errol Flynn. She was great in all his movies.
Hey Paul….I agree with you…..I re-watch some of those Flynn/de Havilland movies a lot more than I do GWTW. She outlived her frequent co-star by 61 years. Rest in peace.
I shared this on another post, but I do find it amazing that she lived several lifetimes longer than other GWTW cast members.
Her costars:
Vivian Leigh died in 1967
Clarke Gable died in 1960
Leslie Howard died in 1941
Hattie McDaniel died in 1952
Hey Ann…..Cammie King Conlon who played Bonnie, died in 2010 at the age of 76….it looks like the last living member of that cast is Mickey Kuhn who will be 88 in less than two months. Good information. Rest in peace.
