Want to know the best Orlando Bloom movies?  How about the worst Orlando Bloom movies?  Curious about Orlando Bloom’s box office grosses or which Orlando Bloom movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Orlando Bloom movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.

Usually when I finish doing a movie page, I will tell my teenagers….”Hey check out the new page I just published”…..they usually respond with a…”Who is it this time?…..”interesting” …..”nice”……or my personal favorite…..”whatever”. Late last week, I told my 20 year old son that I had just published a Alfred Hitchcock page…..he slowly looked from up his iPad and said….”Dude why don’t you do a page with somebody that still has a pulse?” After receiving this constructive criticism, I asked my 19 year old daughter which actor would make a good movie page subject.

Orlando Bloom came to her mind almost immediately. Orlando Bloom might take some criticism for his acting style, but few would knock the movies he has appeared in over the years. One of his first roles was playing PFC. Todd Blackburn (the soldier that fell out of the helicopter) in 2001’s Black Hawk Down. He had his break-through roles, as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and as blacksmith Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Probably the best Dual Iconic Roles since Harrison Ford played both Han Solo and Indiana Jones.

Bloom next took to the screen as Paris, the man who effectively started the Trojan War in 2004’s hit movie Troy co-starring Brad Pitt and Peter O’ Toole. In 2005, Bloom appeared in Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven, which did mild business at the box office, but has gained a following with the release of a Director’s Cut on DVD. Some critics consider the Director’s Cut to be one of the best movies of the 2000s. Since the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End in 2007, Bloom stepped out of the Hollywood limelight. He started appearing on smaller projects like appearing on stage in London and appearing in supporting roles in small budget films.  In 2013, Bloom, returned to the world of box office hits as he appeared as Legolas in the final two parts of The Hobbit trilogy.

His IMDb page shows over 40 acting credits since 1994. This page will rank Orlando Bloom movies from Best to Worst in seven different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in theaters were not included in the rankings.

    1. Hey meisjunk….yep kids can be funny…thanks for checking out this Bloom page…especially since you are not a Bloom fan

  1. I need to watch Black Hawk Down again,it was a fantastic movie.I never could keep my self interested in Pirates or Lord of the Ring.

    1. Hey mentalist acer….thanks for stopping by…I agree with you Black Hawk Down is an awesome movie that I can watch over and over…..Ridley Scott did another outstanding job….of all of Scott’s hits….my favorite two are Black Hawk Down and Kingdom of Heaven….I liked the first Pirate movie, not such much the last three……as for Lord of the Rings….a good movie but not worth watching again…

  2. Funny stuff from your homefront. I also agree that Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut is a movie that will be appreciated in time.

    1. Thank you Tyler, I agree with you 100% about Kingdom of Heaven. The Director’s Cut is one of the best ones out there…..some director’s cut add a couple of scenes that do nothing for the movie…..but Ridley Scott added about 50 more minutes with entire subplots….which explains some of the stuff that happens in the movie….for example…the director’s cut you realize why Orlando killed his brother, the fact that Orlando had already gone on a Crusade , why the Queen cracks up at the end, and what happens to the young prince…..anyway…I agree with you…thanks for stopping by.

  3. Love your sons reply and your daughters suggestion!! I’m a BIG fan of Orlando. He always leaves a lasting memory with his performances. Great page!!! I’m with the kids … let’s have more younger generation movie pages 🙂

    1. Hey Sunshine625….thanks for the compliment….I just can not figure out where my son picked up his sarcasm…..it has to be from his mother….lol…..I generally try to alternate between the golden oldies hubs to modern day pages….but I think my hubs lately had been all classic movies…..but I am back on track with regards in newer movies…thanks for the tweet and the comments.
