  1. Very good list. Although you forgot to mention “Dodgeball” starring Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller. Plus, wasn’t the “Big Lebowski” a bowling movie if I’m not mistaken? I do apologize if I’m wrong, as I haven’t seen that movie, but I heard it takes place mostly in a bowling alley. Anyways, thanks a lot for writing this again, as I look forward to seeing how well all the racing films do

    1. Hey Stevennix2001….I thought about Dodgeball….but I forgot all about The Big Lebowski…..I will add both movies to the page….I am now thinking the final page will be around 400 versus 500….the search did find one of the few cricket and curling movies ever found.

  2. Karate Kid and The Color of Money …. superb movies!!
Excellent assortment of movies…wow, I’m speechless…haha imagine that ever happening! Impressive work of art you got here cogerson!!

    1. Thanks for the compliment Sunshine625….so which Karate Kid do you speak of ….the new one or the old one…..it seems people that saw the original are not the biggest fans of the new one.

  3. I didn’t even know they made Cricket movies Cogerson, and look at all the soccer movies I didn’t know existed, great find dude! 🙂

Good to see Rollerball (1975) on the chart, my favourite fictional sport and a great movie, IMO.

Btw folks this is the only place on the net where you’d find The Karate Kid rated higher than Paul Newman’s The Hustler, kudos my friend! 🙂

    1. Hey Steve

The original Rollerball is excellent the remake could be the worst remake ever…..hard to believe the same director behind Die Hard and Predator made that horrible movie.

As for Karate Kid over The Hustler….the original Karate Kid was a monster hit that critics and audiences loved. Hustler earned more Oscar noms….but was not the biggest hit at the box office….in fact it never made the Variety top film charts……but it least The Hustler beat the new Karate Kid…..all jokes aside after reading some reviews of Lagaan(the cricket movie), it really does look like a pretty good movie.

  4. Wow Cogerson you have been busy, first you go AWOL for a couple of weeks, now I get an e-mail that you have done 5 pages in 2 days. Glad to see you back and publishing movie pages again. Great idea, your final sports page should be pretty good it looks like you have done lots of work in preparing that top 100 sports movies.

Let me comment on this page. I have seen one of the soccer movies, Gracie. A few of the golf ones, and several of the olympic ones, The Cutting Edge and Ice Castles are two of my favorite movies, they need to be ranked higher. So Langann is the best cricket movie ever made? I think it is the only cricket movie ever made

    1. Hey KellyE….yep I took some time away from writing movie pages…. As for your two favorite movies…I am glad you like them…but I do not think they will make the Final 100. I am sure there are more cricket movies but the only one I have found so far is Lagaan. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my page.
