    1. Hey Dan. As always…thanks for putting together these lists. Good to see he has a spot on the Oracle list….not a great ranking…but a solid one. Looking at the first list, X-Men movies are well represented. Most frequent Oracle co-stars..Ian Mckellen (one day he will have a page) and Frank Welker. Looking at the second list…..18 is a very very low number for the amount of movies he has appeared and for the length of his movie career (45 years long)…but you can not have everything….where would you put it? Good stuff as always.

  2. My second favorite Starship captain gets a UMR page, nice.

I’ve seen 31 of the 51 films on the chart. Many favorites including all the Star Trek movies, all the X-Men movies, Dune, Lifeforce, Excalibur, Prince of Egypt, Chicken Little, TMNT, Ted and Steamboy.

Logan tops the charts, no complaints here, Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were both excellent.

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up.

    1. Hey Steve….ah….you have me beat by 2 movies….31 for you and 29 for me. I was just re-watching one of your favorites….Dune….when Sir Patrick popped up in that one…..and I thought…I need to do a page on him…..so here you go…his page. I have seen all of your favorites with the exception of Steamboy. I have seen Lifeforce….but it was so long ago that I barely remember the movie…and have no memory of his role in that movie. Excalibur…at least the first half is amazing….the finale is awesome too…..just the section leading up to the finale is somewhat boring. Glad you have no issues with Logan having the top spot….a great movie…and I am not a fan of the Wolverine movies. Good stuff as always.

  3. I have just recently watched Sir Patrick in what for me has been his most deliciously entertaining role – Episode 3 of Season 11 [the final one] of the TV sitcom Frasier in which Sir Pat plays Alistair Burke the Director of Seattle opera [ a sort of a Joel type]. The episode is called The Doctor is Out. I urge anyone whos enjoys Sir Pat’s work to try to see it if they haven’t already done so.

Stewart is a scream as the Director who pursues a friendship with Frasier and invites the latter to spend time with him at the villa of Alistair’s close friend Bernardo Bertolucci [movie director of The Last Emperor and Last Tangos in Virginia and Manchester].

At the start of the episode Frasier and his family/household are discussing movies when Daphne Moon Frasier’s English housekeeper reveals that she is a big fan of Peter O’Toole. Later Stewart’s Alistair pays Frasier’s apartment a visit and invites the family and Daphne to a celebrity party at Alistair’s home.

DAPHNE: Will Peter O’Toole be there?
ALISTAIR: No – and HE knows why!”

    1. Hey Bob….I have actually seen his storyline in Frasier. WoC is also a fan of that show. Good recall of that episode….movies and television interacting together. Good stuff.

  4. Cogerson Tally Count: I have seen 29 Patrick Stewart movies….including the Top 27 when looking at the overall UMR score. My Top 5 – Logan, Excaliber, X-Men 2, Star Trek: First Contact and Ted. I just re-watched Dune last night, and I liked his supporting role in that one.
