Hello,
When I think Bond, I think Sean Connery or Roger Moore but Mr Brosnan was really so great in Mrs Doubtfire and of course so funny that for me I have never believe he was James…..
Bye
Pierre
Hey Pierre…good points on Pierce….his latest movie has brought some views to the web page. I agree he is very good in Mrs. Doubtfire…..it might from the comedy smash to James Bond movies….the peak of his career. Good feedback.
Love Pierce Brosnan, not my favorite Bond but I liked his Bond movies. Thomas Crown is easily my favorite Pierce movie but The Matador is a close second. You have been busy . Keep it up.
Hey SteinHOF…..August was a very productive month for us…..probably trying to overcompensate for a forecasted slow September…as the Cogerson life gets crazy with work and school. I liked him as Bond too…..as for The Matador….a very good movie that got little attention.
That gets me to remember how The Matador changed how I watch movies. Years ago….I was at the local library with a kid doing something for school…..anyway…I happened to notice some dvds on a shelf…..I walked over thinking they were educational dvds…..well one of the movies on the shelf was Pierce’s The Matador…..I picked it up, checked it out, watched it. Anyway…the next day I went back and got 5 more movies. Well….since then I watch almost 99% of my movies from the local libraries in my area….I have access to about 40 libraries….so I am able to watch a ton of movies…..since 2013….I have averaged watching over 800 movies a year.
Sorry I went off on a rant…..anyway back to your Pierce comment….thanks for the visit and the nice words….it is greatly appreciated.
Hey Dan
1. I only listed 39 of Pierce’s movies….but he has a pretty good collection of movies that did not reach theaters here in the United States….those movies had to help him reach number 226.
2. Only 3 of the Top 10…..but I like his movie with Caine…The Fourth Protocol.
3. Looking at the names….looks like Judi Dench wins the most appearances award….and they were all Bond movies.
4. Looking at the second list….so he really jumped up…I guess not being James Bond did not slow him down at all….good to see Desmond/Q on the list…I miss him in the new Bond movies.
5. 24 Oscar winning co-stars seems low…..but there are some major players on that list.
6. I did not watch Remington Steele either…..but I know my mom loved that show….and still watches it today. Seems it is having a nice life after it’s primetime run.
As always….your lists are greatly appreciated.
