The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.

  • Movie title and with a link to the movie’s trailer.
  • Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by which company produced the movie and the voice star of the movie
  • Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by adjusted worldwide box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
  • Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by critic reviews and audiences voting.  60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
  • Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each Pixar Movie and DreamWorks Movie received.
  • Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score.  UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score.  The ceiling to earn points for box office is $200 million…once a movie passes that mark it stops earning points in that category.

  1. I wasn’t even around when you first published this Bruce! 🙂

Toy Story 3 top of the board eh, not really surprised every one seemed to like that one. It was good but I still prefer the first Toy Story film rough as it now may seem, there is a charm to it missing from the more busy sequels. And it was a landmark in animation, the first full length computer generated movie. The ‘Snow White’ of it’s time.

I’ve seen and bought on DVD / Blu-ray 28 of the 29 movies on your list, I have yet to see Puss in Boots.

Favourites include – The Incredibles, Antz, the first Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon.

Another fascinating movie page Bruce, well done.

    1. Hey Steve, my family owns 26 of the 29 movies on DVD, the only three missing are antz, flushed away and puss in boots….with puss in boots being the only one I have not seen. I am sure that will be seen very soon. Looking at your favorites it looks like you prefer dream works over Pixar. I agree with your comparison about snow white and toy story. Thanks for checking out one of my oldest movie pages.

  2. I thought I should stop by to give you an updated comment!:) I saw Shrek and I had to say hello to him and you!!

    1. Thanks for the update….as I type this I am looking at our picture of Shrek, Debbie and Sam at Universal Studios in Los Angeles….it is good to see a celebrity that still embraces his public….lol….thanks for stopping by.

  3. Hey Luvable Sweetheart….Toy Story is the still the best of the bunch…I hope they have a Toy Story 4.

Hey Shaun…I still have not included the Ice Age movies….maybe one day…..especially since the Ice Age movies just keep coming

Hey Hinton1966…..I have included the inflated numbers here….thanks for the suggestion….too bad it took 11 months for me to accomplish that.

  4. Hey BryRog57….you were correct Toy Story 3 did eventually top the charts.

Hey Kara….I agree Pixar rocks…and I forgive them for Cars 2

Hey FNN31974…..DreamWorks might not be as successful as Pixar….but they have an awesome track record as well…I also enjoyed Flushed Away…too bad it sits at the bottom of the rankings.
