Pixar Movies vs DreamWorks Movies Can Be Ranked 7 Ways In The Table Below
The really cool thing about this table is that it is “user-sortable”. Rank the movies anyway you want.
- Movie title and with a link to the movie’s trailer.
- Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by which company produced the movie and the voice star of the movie
- Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by adjusted domestic box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
- Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by adjusted worldwide box office grosses using current movie ticket cost (in millions)
- Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by critic reviews and audiences voting. 60% rating or higher should indicate a good movie.
- Sort by how many Oscar® nominations and how many Oscar® wins each Pixar Movie and DreamWorks Movie received.
- Sort Pixar Movies and DreamWorks Movies by Ultimate Movie Rankings (UMR) Score. UMR Score puts box office, reviews and awards into a mathematical equation and gives each movie a score. Animated films have become a force to be reckoned with over the last 20 years. They are almost always successful, because parents need something then can take the whole family out to enjoy.
Not to mention, most of these movies are written for adults as well as children, so us grownups can always find something to laugh about
Hey GofortheJuggler…you make some excellent points in your comment….I think Pixar does the best job of giving adults and children something to look at in it’s movies….although Dreamworks seems to be following Pixar’s blueprint….thanks for the comment and the visit.
This is a fabulous comparison! I just saw Brave and until this came out I think Toy Story 3 was the most amazing animated film I have seen. I am a big Pixar fan. I love Puss N’ Boots but it wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be. I think it was because the Egg was such a repulsive character. The bonus features with the Diablos was better than the movie.
Hey tammyswallow..thanks for the visit….I think Toy Story 3 is awesome as well….it does not matter how many times my kids have seen Toy Story 3…they still get concerned at the end of the movie when it looks like Woody and the gang could be goners….the sign of a great movie. I was not as impressed with Brave…as it seemed to me that they borrowed too much storyline from previous Pixar movies and lots of previous Dreamwork movies…but my little girls keep talking about the movie so what do I know….lol. I think the Egg in Puss in Boots joins Scrat from the Ice Age movies as one of the worst characters in these types of movies.
Wow, what an amazing movie page! I absolutely love Disney movies, Pixar and Dreamworks. I think Finding Nemo & Toystory are my favorites. Thank you so much this.
Hey T4an….I am looking forward to Finding Nemo coming to Blu-Ray…those colors you mention should pop off the screen.
I just love it all!
Thank you unknown spy….your comment and visit are greatly appreciated
Hey these are interesting stats. I really liked Finding Nemo when it first came out… okay I still like it!
Hey ChristyWrites….you will be happy to know that Finding Nemo 3D is coming out in the fall….and then the Blu-Ray will reach homes by Christmas….thanks for the visit and comment
Woot! Yes glad to hear the 3D version of Nemo is coming – thanks for the heads up!
Hey ChristyWrites….the official dates of realease….Finding Nemo 3D in theaters September 14th…..on Blu-Ray December 4th. I am sure Finding Nemo 3D will end up under our Xmas tree…..can you believe Xmas is coming around the corner?
