Finding Dory was amazing the best Pixar movie yet
Thanks for the review on Finding Dory. Glad you liked it so much.
Pixar is better there is no confusion while comparing between them but still studio ghibli the best
Hey Anonymous…..thanks for stopping by and commenting. I agree with your comment.
I’ve just read that someone behind Monster’s Inc. has just died of brain cancer at the age of 49.
Sad news. Daniel Gerson wrote the screenplay for Monsters, Inc and Big Hero Six….both are favorites of my kids. Only 49….scary….especially since I will be 49 next month.
DreamWorks is trash compared to Pixar they put quantity over quality
Hey Daniel…..I think the stats back up your comment…100%. DreamWorks might be getting better…they only had one movie in 2015….so maybe 2016 will offer some quality. Thanks for stopping by.
I feel dreamworks is better in my opinion how to train your dragon was really the decider for me,really increased my love for them.
Hi
I went to see Inside Out on Saturday and it was truly excellent. I don’t think there’s going to be too many guesses for Best Animated Feature, the producers can get their tuxedos and new dresses ready.
There’s no doubt that Pixar are on a real high again, features are constantly of a high standard. Brave, Ratatouille, Up all brilliant. While DreamWorks have produced some great films, they are still not in the same league.
Hey Chris…..glad you enjoyed Inside Out. Thanks for checking out my most popular website….I have had three different websites….website #1 was HubPages….Pixar vs Dreamworks was my most popular page….website #2 was CogersonMoviesScore….and Pixar vs Dreamworks was my most popular….now this third and final website….Pixar vs Dreamworks is my third most popular page…but quickly catching up to Marilyn Monroe and Steven Spielberg….which I find amazing because it was one of the very last pages to be moved over here. But enough about website stats.
You are 100% correct….this will win the Oscar for Best Animated Movie….and I bet it has a good chance to join Up, Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story 3 as the only animated movies to earn a Best Picture nomination.
Dreamworks seems to be taking many steps backwards….only one movie this year…Home….laying people off…..stock price dropping….I guess Shrek 5 will be coming to the rescue soon. Thanks for the comment.
I feel like Up is overrated. I found it really boring. It has a great message, but it soon became a bland mix of an old, grumpy man, a hyper kid, a bunch of talking dogs, and a crazy plane driver trapped in a jungle. Uninteresting, and how can you really make a plot from all that?
But I agree with you on most of this. I’ve seen every Pixar movie except for the dinosaur one, and I love Pixar in general. But Dreamworks is great, too. I love Home and How to Train Your Dragon 2. I’m not a huge train your dragon fan, but the movie was remarkable. As was Home, which had great messages and clever dialogue, and beautiful animation and music as well. And in school a few weeks ago, we watched Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Not bad at all, pretty cute in fact, and full of quips. Dreamworks has certainly stepped up its game over the years.
I love Pixar and modern Dreamworks movies. I wonder if Finding Dory will be any good!
Hey Math Binx. I can see your point. The movie has a strange tone. It goes from an almost serious look at aging and love lost to a silly adventure film..with talking dogs and silly birds. My little ones never ever ask to watch Up. I have never watched it since seeing it in theaters. So somehow the Pixar people have made a One and Done movie…for adults and kids.
You have picked a good Pixar movie to avoid…the Good Dinosaur was very disappointing. Home and the How To Train Your Dragon movies are in heavy rotation in our house. I am thinking Finding Dory will return Pixar back to great movies….it has to be better than The Good Dinosaur. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
