I saw 9 including 7 of top 10. she is fabulous..9 and favorites: Constantine(too weird to ever recommend), runaway jury(hackman and john cusack are favorites of mine). 9 not favorite: the constant gardener. hidden gem: about a boy a 7
My favourite Rachel movies are Runaway Jury and Youth with Sir Maurice. On top of her big screen career she has appeared in 9 television productions and 7 stage presentations: most notably in the Liz Taylor screen role of Catherine in 1999’s Suddenly Last Summer and as Blanch in a 2009 production of Streetcar.
Both performances were at the Donmar Warehouse theatre in London, which commendably is run as a “not for profit” playhouse. [“Suddenly last summer Cathy realized she was being used for something evil!”]
For her medium diversity and subject versatility I give this new page a hearty “Voted Up”. After all she trod the boards with those two Tennessee Williams projects whereas The Great Man himself cautioned Stallone that Sly hadn’t the acting capacity to tackle Tennessee’s work and Sly had to back off. Her net worth is $36 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Hey Bob….thanks for the thoughts on Rachel Weisz. Glad you enjoyed Youth as well….an interesting movie that pretty much got ignored here in the states. Interesting about her stage work…I had not heard very much about that…so your comment has helped educate me. 36 million is pretty impressive. Good stuff.
Rachel Weisz is no longer on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 Center of the Hollywood Universe list. She was as high as #492 when they used the IMDB as there database but come Wikipedia, bon voyage. These are the actors on the current list she has appeared with.

Hey Dan….as always….Thank you…..for sharing this information. As busy as she has been in the last 20 years, I am not surprised at all that she WAS in the Oracle Top 500. I suspect she will continue to make that list again if she continues to work so much. First list…most frequent Oracle co-star….her good buddy Jude Law….I think they became friends before either was famous. Second list…22 is about average for an actress….looking at that list…I was not aware that Olivia Colman was in The Lobster….learn something new everyday. Good stuff as always!
mmm lovely Rachel Weisz, aka Mrs. James Bond, has arrived at the UMR, nice.
Thanks for the video share, mucho apreciado.
I’ve seen 15 of the 42 films on the chart. Favorites include – The Mummy and The Mummy Cometh Again, Enemy at the Gates, The Fountain, Constantine and The Bourne Legacy.
Top rated films I haven’t seen – The Lobster and The Deep Blue Sea.
Those first two Mummy films were big successes for Rachel, she said no to the third film in the series and they replaced her with American actress Maria Bello. It wasn’t a popular choice, I missed my Rachel! [wipes tear] 🙂
Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!
Hey Steve….thanks for stopping by and sharing your movie wisdom on Rachel Weisz. I have seen a shocking (to me) 32 of her movies. So I somehow double your total. No idea I had seen that many of her movies. I figured it was long overdue for the Mrs. Bond to have her own page. I have seen all of your favorites…with The Mummy 1, Enemy At The Gates and Constantine being my favorites as well. Granted I have only seen The Fountain once….but I did not like it all…maybe a repeat viewing is needed. I have seen both of the top rated movies you have missed…both unique movies…..but a little too depressing for my tastes to get them past “one and done” for me. I was actually disappointed in The Lobster…even with a very unique story. As for Mummy 3, I think she made the right decision…..it would have been weak even with her in the movie. Good stuff as always.
