  1. I saw 8 including top 4. 10s not favorites: dr Zhivago , anna Karenina , (non UMR 10 jesus miniseries with rod steiger, larry Olivier, and ralph and a dozen other stars). 9s not favorites: Khartoum(hidden gem with Olivier and heston) , exodus, the heiress.

    another hidden gem is the divorce of lady x a 7. politically incorrect woman bashing ” man in his folly and kindness has been bamboozled into accepting woman as a rational creature” larry and ralph together . “men know the truth about themselves, women don’t, they only know the truth about each other”. gee, I wonder how this one got bad reviews.

    I’ve seen 22 of the 55 films on the chart, favorites include Battle of Britain, Khartoum, Dr. Zhivago, Things to Come, Rollerball, Dragonslayer, Time Bandits, Tales from the Crypt, The Ghoul, The Four Feathers and Greystoke.

    I haven’t seen the top 3 on the critics chart – The Heiress, Chimes at Midnight or Long Night’s Journey into Day. But there’s still time. 🙂

      I have seen 8 of your favorites…I remember seeing Things To Come on your recommendation…amazingly that was years ago….how did almost 10 years of his talking movies happen already?
