Need to know which Regina Hall movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Regina Hall (1970-) is an American actress and comedian. She is best known for her multiple leading roles, most recently in Girls Trip (2017), Little (2019) and Shaft (2019). Her IMDb page shows over 55 acting credits since 1992. This page will rank Regina Hall movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, movies that were not released in North American theaters were not included in the rankings. To do well in our overall rankings a movie has to do well at the box office, get good reviews by critics, be liked by audiences and get some award recognition. This comes from a request from numerous 8th graders from WBMS (the school I teach at).

Some of that comment is missing.
Hey Dan…..hmmmm….efforting to figure out where the rest of the comment went….sorry about that.
Hey Dan…..I have seen all of the Scary Movie movies…but only own one of them…I think that one is Scary Movie 3. The Superhero Movie is pretty bad…not sure it is the worst…..as I have seen much worse than that one. Looking at the first list…Anthony Anderson is her most frequent co-star. I actually saw one of their movies…King’s Ransom in a thrift store…toyed with buying it…but in the end…it went back on the shelf. Wow…only 4 Oscar winning co-stars. That is one of the lowest totals for somebody with this many movies. Thanks for the lists, the connections and the visit. Good stuff!
Great work!! You finally added her, but i love the nun fact. I did not know she had been in 30 movies. I also had no idea that she was turning 50 years, old she looks really young. Then, she had been in 6 movies with Kevin Hart wow!!!!
Hey G Vandross. Thanks for the kind words on our Regina Hall page…glad those 8th graders enjoyed the page as well. Yep she is almost 50…and yep she wanted to become a nun….just a little too late. I did not know they had a cut off time for nuns….I wonder how they came up with 39? Good stuff.
I have seen just 1 Regina Hall movie, Scary Movie 1. After that I lost interest in the series; though I might have given Scary Movie 2 at least a look-in had The Great Mumbler not fallen ill and been able to play the [lucrative] cameo that he had signed up for.
He was replaced by James Woods; but Mr Mumbles had already been paid up front [the way that he always insisted upon being treated]and the producers let him keep the money to show their great respect for him – put that in your pipe and smoke it Hirsch. [Look no comma before Hirsch – what a daring fellow I am!]
None of the other Regina films listed above would on the face of it interest me, though she has at post-production stage for 2020 release Breaking News in Yuba County, which might well appeal to me. IMDB describes it a s “crime, drama, thriller” but Wikipedia’s notes suggest that there might be an element of comedy in it which might put me off. Most American humour these days is not my personal cup of tea as I find it very contrived and way over the top.
Regina has also been active on television with 14 productions between 1992 and present. She currently has a lead role alongside Don Cheadle in the comedy series Black Monday which started last year and has churned out 10 episodes to date, with a further 10 apparently all in the can and set to air commencing next month. Regina has a current reported net worth of $4 million and IMDB credits her with 8 wins and 20 noms.
Hey Bob…..thanks for stopping by and commenting on one of our two new pages. I have seen 17 of her movies…so I am running at 57% completion mark. Much higher than I would have guessed. It is a shame that Marlon did not get the opportunity to play that part in the Scary Movie series. Thanks for the info on her upcoming projects, her television roles and her financial worth. I get Regina Hall mixed up with Regina King….just like I get Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney. Good stuff.
