  1. i really hated the Robert Downey Sherlock Holmes Movies. Hoping he never does another one or a series.

    1. Hey Gail Jensen….sorry you did not like the Sherlock Holmes movies….but I am sure a part three of that one will be coming soon…..since part 2 did so well at the box office. But before he does that you will get another Iron Man movie and a possible Perry Mason movie. Thanks for the visit.

  2. Great movie page, very informational! I love your update regarding Avengers, and loved Sherlock and the Ironmans. Great page, and your research shows! Up and useful!

    1. Hey josh3418….glad you like the movie page and the update….tracking The Avengers has been fun as it reaches levels at the box office that rarely get reached…..600 million is in the bag…..but I do not see another 48 million….that will help it catch Titanic….but then again maybe in another 20 years they will release The Avengers in 5D and it will get released again……like the way Titanic added to it’s box office total with the 2012 3D re-release….thanks for the visit.

  3. ha well Robert Downey Jr is a class act ad would always be a class act, but my goodness he has really been in some bad movies (but well who hasn’t) like Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (as you stated earlier). That being said though, he is one reason i can’t really get enough of Sherlock Holmes. Great page once again

    Peace

    1. Hey Docmo….thanks for the comments and the information on Downey possibly doing a Perry Mason reboot….I could see that helping him have four franchises going at once…..Iron Man, The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes and Perry Mason…he has indeed come a long way since Kiss Kiss Bang Bang brought him back into the spotlight(at least the good spotlight). I was glad when he tried to help out Mel Gibson….so far it has not worked.

  4. I have always loved his work, even right back when he did ‘Chances Are’ with Cybill Shepherd. I enjoyedh is work in Chaplin and was very said when he had his bad run. I was delighted when he came back with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ( credit to Mel Gibson and Shane Black for resurrecting his career- Downey did a return favor when he spoke on behalf of Mel at an awards ceremony) and loving his work do far. He has bene a franchise magnet and easily dazzles in any role. I cant wait for his take on Perry Mason ( his compnay has bought the rights) Great hub as usual Cogerson with plenty of info magic! voted up!

  5. I really like RDJ since he’s been on the comeback trail and I agree about him in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. It’s like he modernized the old craggy Bogey noirs for a new generation. I’m kind of hoping he does something like that again. Great movie page as usual 🙂

    1. Hey Alecia….I actually think Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is the movie that producers watch and then decided to give RDJ another chance….since that role he has been on a roll….I would love for him to bring that character back…and all the clout he has now….he could make it happen….there are so many great moments in that movie…they just get better as time passes by…thanks as always for your comments.
