  1. Bond girl Rosamund Pike gets her page at UMR headquarters.

I’ve seen 7 of the 30 films on the chart. Favorites are – Die Another Day, Worlds End, Gone Girl, Jack Reacher, Wrath of the Titans, Surrogates and Doom.

Top rated films I haven’t seen – Pride & Prejudice and An Education.

    Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up.

  2. Unfortunately Rosamund hasn’t been able to capitalise on the massive box office success of Gone Girl way back in 2014 and her 10 movies since then have overall grossed only an adjusted $46 million domestically.

That’s an average of $4.6 million a movie alongside weak foreign grosses too with a sample of their budgets averaging out at $12 million per movie by Wikipedia’s estimates.

I’ve mentioned before that one thing that Davis and Crawford WERE agreed on was that to be regarded as a TRUE star a thespian had to demonstrate that he/she could pull their weight at the box office in a run of commercial hits. Nevertheless Rosamund has a reported current net fortune of $9 million

  3. So you’ve got a new book coming out, it’s about time.

I’ve liked Rosamund ever since I saw Surrogates, though she has been too many policical movies for my taste (The Informer, Beirut, A Private Affair, 7 Days in Entebbe, A United Kingdom). And where is Radioactive, when will we ever be able to see it.

Rosamund has never been on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 list. These are the people on the 2020 list she has appeared with.

    1. Hey Dan. Yep the second book is well on its way. Currently sitting in 350 pages. I’m showing a rough draft to my oldest daughter and she asked if I had a Rosamund Pike in the book. When I told her I did not she seem disappointed, so now she has a UM our page and she’s in the book. I suspect she will eventually make the top 1000 as she has been one of the most active actresses working today. Looks like Toni Collette and Bill Night have the honors for most frequent Oracle co-stars. Single digit Oscar winning co-stars you do not see that too often. Good stuff as always.

  4. I have seen 19 of these movies or 63.33%. Favorites include Gone Girl, Return To Sender, Surrogates (Though it could have been even better) and Hostiles.
