Want to know the best Shia LaBeouf movies? How about the worst Shia LaBeouf movies? Curious about Shia LaBeouf’s box office grosses or which Shia LaBeouf movie picked up the most Oscar® nominations? Need to know which Shia LaBeouf movie got the best reviews from critics and audiences? Well you have come to the right place….because we have all of that information.
Usually when I finish doing a movie page, I will tell my teenagers….”Hey check out the new page I just published”…..they usually respond with a…”Who is it this time?…..”interesting” …..”nice”……or my personal favorite…..”whatever”. Late last week, I told my 20 year old son that I had just published a Alfred Hitchcock page…..he slowly looked from up his iPad and said….”Dude why don’t you do a page with somebody that still has a pulse?” After receiving this constructive criticism, I asked my 19 year old daughter which actor would make a good movie page subject. Shia LaBeouf came to her mind almost immediately.
Shia LaBeouf (1986-) first gained attention starring on the Disney television show, Even Stevens, from 2000 to 2003. In 2003 he would appear in his film debut in the surprise hit Holes, opposite Sigourney Weaver and Jon Voight. After Holes, LaBeouf would appear in supporting roles in movies like I, Robot with Will Smith and Constantine with Keanu Reeves.
His career breakthrough occured in 2007. LaBeouf starred in Disturbia (think Rear Window), as a teenager under house arrest who suspects that his neighbor is a serial killer. It got good reviews and became a hit. Later that year, he would appear as Sam Witwicky for the first time, in the monster hit Transformers. He would follow that with two more hits in 2008, a major part in the 4th Indiana Jones movie and the thriller Eagle Eye.
2009 saw the release of his biggest box office hit to date in Transformers 2: The Revenge of the Fallen, and small parts in the ensemble movies Bobby and New York, I Love You. In 2010, he appeared opposite Michael Douglass in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. He then returned as Sam Witwicky for a third time in Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. Since Transformers 3, he has decided to move away from big budget films and concentrate on lower budget movies that offer bigger acting challenges. With the exception of Fury …. not thinking that is working out too well for him.
His IMDb page shows 50 acting credits from 1984-2017. This page will rank 22 Shia LaBeouf movies from Best to Worst in six different sortable columns of information. Television shows, shorts, cameos and movies that were not released in theaters were not included in the rankings.

For comments….all you need is a name and a comment….please ignore the rest.
Well hey pops, not bad. Enjoyed reading as always, keeping the comments coming all the way from Alaska.
Thanks for stopping by and reading…..and thanks for the comments from Alaska.
As for Shia, I liked him in supporting roles, not so much as a leading man. Then again I never liked Leo until just recently. Voted up awesome and funny, at least your kids part.
Hey Yankees Rule…I am also glad that Bloom is going to be in the two Hobbit movies, as for LaBeouf I agree with you 100%……thanks for reading the page.
I still have a pulse, but I don’t know very much about either of these little boys. They’ve both been in movies I enjoyed so I guess that counts for something. 🙂
Hey Faye….glad you still have a pulse and glad you stopped by and commenting. Shia has been in some major blockbusters for sure.
Well not what I would consider two great actors, but I am sure to younger people this is the Paul Newman/Robert Redford of their time. Their movies are monster hits in franchise movies. I mean look the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Raiders of the Lost ark franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Transformers franchise….when today’s teenagers are in their 40s these movies will be their classics and Orlando and Shia will be their classic actors.
Hey hinton1966..you could be correct…Bloom and LaBeouf will only grow in their stature as they and the current younger people get older….I am sure people that like Spencer Tracy and Humphrey Bogart probably thought Newman and Brando were weak actors as well……and I also agree the 4 franchises these two actors are involved in will only continue to move towards classic status….thanks for the comments
I can’t stand Shia and wish that someone else had been cast in Transformers, but I like the action of the movies so just have to deal. Disturbia was ok too, but someone else could have played that part and I would probably have liked it even more.
The Crystal Skull was awful, although I was a huge fan of the previous ones, having grown up with Indiana Jones. It makes me wonder when I think about the Han Solo and Indiana characters though, is Shia trying to emulate Harrison Ford a little? He almost has that wierd jerky sortof frantic thing like Ford… Just a thought. f
Crystal Skull was a huge disappointment for me….I saw it in the theater opening night and will never watch it again….Shia’s part could have easily been taken out….
I am sure Shia was trying to copy Ford’s mannerisms, because I do believe Spielberg/Lucas wanted to carry one the franchise with Shia carrying the ball…..but he dropped the ball…thanks for reading the hub and commenting you very smart observations…lol
I wasn’t impressed with Crystal Skull the least of the Indy films, and taking Shia out wouldn’t have improved it much. I did like Shia in Disturbia, which was a reworking of Hitchcock’s Rear Window.
Unfortunately one of the best visuals in the Transformers films, the foxy Megan Fox is out of the new film. But I will still see it. Michael Bay loves large scale destruction. It might be the biggest film of the summer, or will Harry Potter reign supreme? 🙂
Hey Steve Part 2…..I am not sure which movie is going to be the biggest hit….Pirates is dying quickly, Hangover looks like a 280 million dollar film, Potter should flirt with 300 million as well as Transformers 3…..so taking a surprise pick I will go with The Green Lantern ending up as the monster hit of the summer with 325 million. Thanks for the comments.
