UMR Movie Review of The Old Guard (2020)

Watched the latest NetFlix sensation last night. The good stuff. I love the story of The Old Guard. I liked almost all of the performances in the movie. The ok stuff. The action scenes are pretty average. Numerous characters are constantly changing their goals with little to no reason for the change of heart. The bad. The main villain was like watching a cartoon….and it made it seem like he was in a different movie. Final thought: An entertaining movie, but has some flaws. Maybe they will fix those flaws when The Old Guard 2 gets made.   3.5 Stars out of 5.0 Stars
