In this one, humans in the future are in a war with aliens. When things get bad, future humans create a time machine and draft humans to fight the war in the future. The good stuff: Chris Pratt is right at home in the lead role. He is very easy to root for in this movie. The story is different and interesting. The alien special effects are impressive. The bad stuff: The final 40 minutes will have you shaking your head in disbelief as all logic is thrown out the window. Many of the supporting characters disappear for huge chunks of the movie. Some of the massive CGI scenes go on way too long and are in general boring. Final thought: This is a fun movie….just do not think too much while watching it.
