This is probably the most embarrassing resume we’ve posted for anyone. Tiffany may be all over the place but she’s not on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 and she may have worked with the fewest people on the list.

Why are the words so close together????
Hey Dan…your comment looked normal to me.
Hey Dan. What’s wrong? This is like a baby comment from you. Where are the massive lists that you normally provide? Are you tired?…….lol. You of course can not be blamed for the size of Haddish’s lists. I agree with you that she seems to be all over the place these days. She is on television, podcasts, movies. She was one of David Letterman’s guests on his new show….and he said she was one of his best guests ever. So I suspect….her list will be growing very very fast. Thanks as always for providing this information.
Nope never heard of her. I thought you were making these names up. Is the well running dry again? Stewart Granger? Dirk Bogarde? Tim Holt? Gene Autry? hmm the great Roger Corman would make a fascinating subject and an epic video… [cue maniacal laughter]
I’ve seen 3 of 19 films listed – the now legendary Meet The Spartans, Secret Life of Pets 2 and The Lego Movie 2.
Good stuff Bruce. Vote Up!
Hey Steve. She is up and coming actress. Since Girls Trip she has become a hot commodity. She has 8 major releases and one minor release from 2018 to 2020. She has two more movies coming in 2020. The well is not running dry…..but classic stars are getting a little harder to research. Corman, Bogarde, Granger and Autry would make good subjects. Holt’s B movies would be very challenging to research. One Holt story I remember well….he volunteered to join the military after Pearl Harbor. His studio decided to film about 6 or 7 movies in the 2 or 3 weeks before he left….they accomplished their mission…as the movies were made. I can not imagine they were high quality…..with a average shooting time for each movie being 60 hours. Good stuff as always.
Hey Steve…forgot to say…I have seen 10 of her movies.
I requested Roger Corman way back.
Hey Dan…..I have researched a page on Roger Corman…..I would like to do a page on him….but currently…box office numbers are very hard to find on his low budget movies. He is in a drawer with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee….as ones I want to write about but currently I do not have enough information to do. On the Corman side….I saw a book that might provide some box office information on his movies…so hopefully there will be a Corman page soon.
Hey Dan. Mind Warp!: The Fantastic True Story of Roger Corman’s New World Pictures by Christopher T Koetting might be the book that unlocks the Corman puzzle for me. It did provide me the gross for Corman’s The Lady In Red….which I just researched for our Christopher Lloyd page.
Once again, I have to confess to not having seen even one movie of a performer profiled on Cogerson; but I have long been an open fan of the healthy diversity of this site and I therefore welcome Bruce’s new page on another modern actress and once again an African American thespian.
Encouraged by Bruce’s write-up and comments above and the fact that Tiffany is clearly a talented entertainer I have done further research and find that on top of her film career Tiffany has-
1/appeared in 34 TV productions between 2005 and 2019;
2/been heavily involved with musical videos over the past 3 years;
3/featured in one video game – Terminator Salvation[2009]
4/generated a net worth of $6 million – so far! -and been credited by IMDB with 15 acting awards and 35 nominations;
5/a backlog of one TV series and 2 more movies at post production stage; and has just completed Bad Trip, described as a “hidden camera comedy film” about merriment and pranks on a road trip which suck in the general public. It is scheduled for April release this year.
So “Voted Up!”
Hey Bob….you were not supposed to see these new pages yet……..bad Bob bad Bob…..lol. Sometimes I try and get ahead, so when the school week gets crazy….I have pages already done. My old approach was to do the research and quickly write the page before school started. That does not always work out as planned. So I figured I would write the pages and hide them in plain site. But no…you found them. I guess I need to hide them on the site index…and remember which ones have not had a day in the UMR spotlight. Actually….I have been wondering if I could produce 31 different pages in January. It is January 19th…and with these new pages….we have 18 new UMR pages this month. I think I can do it.
Hey Bob. Thanks for the thoughts on Tiffany Haddish. Her life story is truly tragic….and makes her rise to stardom even more impressive. Her movie career has taken off since Girls Trip. There was talk of a Oscar nomination for that one. I have seen 10 of her movies. One than I would have guessed. Her early career is filled with low budget movies that barely saw the light of day in theaters. But since Girls Trip she has become a force. Thanks for the additional information on her career. Glad to see her net worth rising so quickly. From living in your car to 6 million is pretty impressive. I know you have not seen any of her movies….but I enjoyed The Oath. I will attach he trailer to that one when I get through with this comment. She was very serious in The Kitchen….a movie that was pretty entertaining….and also starred another of our “secret” UMR pages Mr. Domhnall Gleeson. Bad Trip coming in April? I do not have that one on our trailer page…I will look for that trailer too.
HI BRUCE: Sorry for apparently jumping the gun in my initial reply to your new page on Tiffany; but when I see one listed or flagged up, I feel that I need to get my thoughts on the subject concerned into print before some of them escape me. And as you know I have many wonderful thoughts to impart!! I didn’t realize of course that you weren’t ready for your viewers.
It is certainly heartening to observe someone who has had a harsh and miserable early life being able to turn it around and become happy and successful. She could easily have felt so sorry for herself that she became embittered and negative to the point where she would not have progressed as she did.
“They always looked down on me those Ivy Leaguers. Especially the Kennedys with their silver spoons in their mouths. Particularly Jack – [sarcastically as the lip curls up] ‘Pretty Jack!’ And if I’d done things that they say LBJ did I’d be in jail today instead of inThe White House.”
Jason Robards Jr as Richard Monkton [coded alias for Richard Nixon] in Washington Behind Closed Doors TV series 1976
Hey Bob….just joking…..I realized that by putting the page on the New Page link…that these pages would be seen. I have gotten into a bad habit….of researching an actor or actress….and then forgetting about that research. Most recently….I researched Laura Dern’s movies……and then only remembered doing it, after she got her most recent Oscar nomination.
As for Tiffany Haddish….I agree with you 100%….it is awesome to see somebody overcome so many obstacles to achieve so much success. Good quote from the Robards’ chararcter. Good stuff as always.
HI BRUCE: I meant to say before this that I love your New Page link because (1) I can quickly identify from that link the new pages that I have commented on and those still requiring comment (1) it is a comprehensive at-a-glance record of the new pages that you have given us in recent months. For example it is currently telling me that we have received almost 85 fresh subjects since just before 1 Sept last -wow: that is pretty impressive particularly when one considers both the diversity and detail involved!
If you haven’t seen Washington behind Closed Doors you should make viewing it a priority. Actually a short while ago TV over here was given transcripts of parts of the actual Watergate tapes that Nixon kept, and disclosure of which were a key factor in his downfall.
Using the transcripts, actors played the parts of the President and his senior aids and spoke the exact words that were on the portions of the transcripts concerned. They revealed the mindset of the Nixon White House that brought such disruption to America and ruined the presidency of Mr Nixon himself.
For example Rev Billy Graham was a close friend of President Nixon and often went to The White House to hold private one-on-one prayer meetings with the President; and one section of the TV-aired exchanges went as follows at a meeting between Nixon and some of his top men.
PRESIDENT: Boys, you know Billy has been a great friend to this administration. Well he tells me the IRS is after him for back taxes. Anything WE can do to help our friend?
AIDE: We need to be hands-off Mr President. The IRS are very jealous of their independence, Sir, and do their own thing. If we try to interfere, we could well bring them down on US.
PRESIDENT: That’s disappointing. However surely there must be a Democrat somewhere whose tax returns raise questions. Could we not set the IRS on HIM and I can tell Billy that the Democrats are being punished too?
NOTE: Rev Graham was actually a registered Democrat who had close links with 12 presidents of both major parties since Harry Truman. He was apparently particularly friendly with LBJ and Nixon but leaned towards the Republican party in Nixon’s time. However generally he tried to be bi-partisan and it is certain that his moral outlook was such that he would have distanced himself from any scheme to scapegoat Democrats over their tax affairs.
