Looks like you are still cranking out lots and lots of new pages. I always appreciated his comedy stylings. Favorite Tim Allen movie is Galaxy Quest. I watch that one all the time. As for his franchise movies give me Santa over Buzz. I thought the first Toy Story was awesome. The rest of the movies are ok but not nearly as good as the original.
Hey SteinHoF16….yep we are still cranking out 3 to 4 pages a week. I really enjoyed Galaxy Quest too. I can see you reasoning with Toy Story movies…I would agree they have gotten worse….but the fall down the mountain has not be too drastic in my eyes….though I did not really enjoy part 4 very much. Good feedback.
I’ve seen the first 3 Toy Story films, I have them on blu-ray and 3D. And I enjoyed Galaxy Quest and Wild Hogs. So that makes 5 Tim Allen films I’ve seen from the 21 listed on the chart. Not impressive.
Bruce I’ve read your Toy Story 4 review, is it your least favorite of the series? I’ll wait till it pops up on blu-ray. Keanu has had good reviews for his toy character.
I watched and enjoyed How to Train Your Dragon 3 recently. And I still have Lego Movie 2 to watch. I loved watching cartoons when I was little and I’m still watching them now in middle age! I guess I’m still young at heart. 🙂
Hey Steve. Thanks for checking out our Tim Allen page. I loved Galaxy Quest as well. I was really disappointed in Wild Hogs….maybe because I paid good money to see that one in theaters. I would recommend Who Is Cletis Tout? as one to see. Decent cast…ok story….but a wonderful role for Allen. He plays a movie loving hitman with a soft spot.
As for Toy Story 4….I liked Keanu’s role…but it is very very brief. He might show up with about 20 minutest to go in the movie. Most of his role can be seen in the trailer. A Bruce Willis running joke in The Lego Movie 2 is the best part….but overall that is a weak sequel….nothing like the first one. HTTYD3 looks amazing..but the story is not too impressive. So like you…I am still watching these cartoons….and generally enjoying them. Good feedback.
From the Blue Lagoon to here (not the Jean Simmons/Brooke Shields one). Tim Allen has never been on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 Center of the Hollywood Universe list. These are the actors on the 1000 he has appeared with starting with the immortal Frank Welker.

Hey Dan. As always…thanks for sharing these wonderful lists that are full of great trivia. Not surprisingly the Toy Story movies fill up the first list….with many of his Toy Story co-stars filling the list. 8 is low….but almost double digits. Not thinking many if any of his movies were “art movies”. Though I guess Redbelt might fit into that category. Good feedback from Dan from Iceland.
Seems he has been a star all of my life. Seeing Toy Story 4 on Sunday afternoon. Glad all of his spade interview has calmed down.
Hey Gerard S. Well…..Tim Allen has been a star for almost a quarter of a century. Hope you enjoy the movie on Sunday. I saw the “spade” “black card” interview. Talk about much to do about nothing. Good stuff as always.
I saw Toy Story 4 last night! Spent all day thinking about it. Thoroughly enjoyed it for me it’s the technical aspects that have got so amazing! I was 10 yrs old when I saw the first one. I am now middle aged. It has been fun growing up with Woody and Buzz.
Hey Chuck…thanks for the mini-review of Toy Story 4. Glad you enjoyed it so much. My children all have fond memories of the Toy Story family. Good feedback.
