  1. I’ve not been this impressed with an actor in years. I actually freeze frame scenes he’s in and find it fascinating how remarkable his expressions are to that segment. Anyone he’s acting with had better be ready to give their best. I’m looking forward to seeing everything this guy does.

    1. Hey Melody. Thanks for the great comment. The best part….is the fact that is seems the best is yet to come. I have high expectations for Legend and The Revenant here for the holidays…and his IMDb page is loaded with tons of movies also coming. I recently watched Black Hawk Down…and even though I have seen the movie many times….this was the first time I realized he was in the movie. He has a freeze frame moment in that movie at the end…when they suggest he ride on top of the vehicle….it is a classic moment. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. First time I heard of Tom Hardy was when he played the main villain in Star Trek Nemesis, later discovered he was in Black Hawk Down too. I remember being particularly impressed with his performance in Bronson, frighteningly effective as “the most violent prisoner in Britain” that was his breakout role.
I’ve seen 11 of the films you’ve listed here. I watched him recently in Mad Max Fury Road, bought the 3D blu-ray. Looking forward to seeing him play the Kray twins in Legend.
His two Christopher Nolan movies top the moviescore and box office charts here, no surprises there. And Mad Max tops the critics chart, who would have thought? Excellent job putting this together Bruce, keep em coming!

    1. Hey Steve….the cast of Black Hawk Down is incredible. You get future Legolas/Will Turner, Mr. Fantastic, Bane, Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Hulk, Galahad and many more. I have not seen Bronson but have heard good things about it….I will add that one to my list of movies to watch. I have 13 of the 18 Hardy movies….but three of them I can not remember his part…RockNRolla, Layer Cake and Marie Antoinette …so I am not sure if I should add them into the tally. I agree the Nolan movies sitting near the top is not surprising. Mad Max Fury Road is one of the best reviewed movies in my 23,000 plus database. I also look forward to his movie, Legend. Thanks for checking out one of my newer pages….it is greatly appreciated.

  3. Hello – I am not familiar with Tom Hardy – I did see Black Hawk Down but no others. I cannot remember that movie much. Good site though. THANKS AGAIN.

    1. Hey BERN1960…..he is an upcoming actor…if though he has already been making movies since 2001. Thanks for checking out my latest.

  4. Nice page. Glad to see you do a page on somebody still making movies. I did not remember he was in Black Hawk Down. Thumbs up my friend.

    1. Hey Timlin….he is indeed still making movies…..and at a pretty impressive rate too. Yep he has a small but important role in Black Hawk Down. Thanks for the thumbs up.
