Just finished publishing a Top 10 Steve McQueen Movies You Tube video. Publishing a You Tube video is not really something new for us…as we have done a few videos over the last year or so. The fact that we finally figured out how to make a video while using actually movie scenes versus still shots from the movie….is the big news….at least in our little part of the world.
So…since we are so happy with our latest video…we thought we would share the video here…..mainly because our website gets considerable more traffic than our You Tube video channel. We have included three videos on this page. The first video is called “Top 10 Steve McQueen Movies“. The second video is called “Give Harrison Ford His Damn Oscar Already“. We like this video….but it shows how our videos used to be. Still photos with copy free music. The third video is called “Our First You Tube Video: It Can Only Get Better“. Our little girls love making videos on the computer…for months they have been requesting for us to make a You Tube video, using their many videos they have made. So a few days ago, we sat down and taught ourselves how to edit videos on our computer. The video is essential a Cogerson home video…but it was a great learning activity….and even includes a few cameos by me….Cogerson.
Our first You Tube video using real Steve McQueen movie clips.
We did this video the day the Honorary Oscar® winners were announced and once again…Mr. Harrison Ford was not on the list of winners.
This video was our guinea pig. It is our little girls at their silliest…but it was a great way to learn about video editing and lots of other stuff.
OK, kinda liked “The Towering Infernal”, great list.
Hey Rick….The Towering Inferno is one of the greatest popcorn movies ever.
I just realized, they did not include “Nevada Smith.” I guess it did not make the cut, or “Soldier in the Rain,” with McQueen and Jackie Gleason. I’ll never forget the knife fight between McQueen and Martin Landau in “Nevada Smith,” or Karl Malden screaming, “Yer yella, yella. Ya haven’t got the guts, haven’t got the guts!” as McQueen rides away!
Hey Joe at the end of the video…I included all of his movies ranked 11 through 26…..Nevada Smith just finished outside of the Top Ten….in 12th place.
I agree, “The Sand Pebbles” is McQueen’s greatest film. I liked it so much, I read the novel.
Hey Joe….glad someone else likes that The Sand Pebbles is number one.
He was at his best in Papillon, just can’t stand to see him in that shape – did you know he did that dive off the cliff? The Sand Pebbles was a great choice for #1 Bruce Cogerson – excellent job.
Very cool. I actually did not know that McQueen did that jump…..but it is not surprising at all. The Sand Peebles had great reviews, box office and Oscar love….and it was Steve’s only Oscar nomination….hard not to make it number one…thanks for the comments and for checking out my video….it is greatly appreciated.
loved him in Thomas Crown Affair, The Great Escape and Bullit
All three made the Top 10….Thomas Crown Affair at #8, The Great Escape at #6, and Bullitt at #3.
