    1. Hey Flora…thanks for checking out our Tuesday Weld page. Tally count: Cogers 10, Greg 9, Flora and bob cox at 6. I have seen one of your favorites (The Cincinnati Kid) and 2 of your “others”. I Walk The Line might be one of the few Gregory Peck movies that you do not enjoy. I have not seen it. As for Looking For Mr. Goodbar….it is ok….but not a favorite…not thinking you have missed too much by skipping that one. Good stuff as always.

  2. Ever see the old TV series The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis with Dwayne Hickman and the ever popular Bob Denver. It was on CBS for 4 years. After the first season they pulled 2 lesser billed regulars out of the show to try in the movies. They were Tuesday Weld and Warren Beatty.

Tuesday Weld has never been on the Oracle of Bacon Top 1000 Center of the Hollywood Universe list. These are the people on the 2020 list she appeared with.

    1. Hey Dan….re-run episodes of Dobie Gillis played on tv when I was growing up. It always confused me because of Bob Denver. I knew him as Gilligan….so seeing him younger and kinda of hip really confused me. Funny that Tuesday Weld and Warren Beatty became the bigger stars from that show.

As always…good lists. Not surprised she is not on the Oracle list. Looking at the first list, I see Tony Perkins and Vincent O. have the honors for most frequent Oracle co-star. Wow only 16 Oscar winning co-stars….that is way on the low side. At least they seem to be well spread out….versus having two or three movies being the main source of Oscar co-stars. Good information as always.

    1. Hey bob cox….thanks for checking out our Tuesday Weld page….I am right there with you on the Cincy Kid….easily my favorite Weld movie….though I have not seen Pretty Poison yet. Good stuff.

  3. I have seen 9 Tuesday Weld movies. The HIGHEST ranked I have seen is THE FIVE PENNIES while the LOWEST ranked movie I have seen is SEX KITTENS GO TO COLLEGE. The highest ranked movie I haven’t seen is LOOKING FOR MR. GOODBAR. Other Tuesday Weld movies I have seen include RETURN TO PEYTON PLACE, WILD IN THE COUNTRY, THE CINCINNATI KID, SERIAL. ROCK ROCK ROCK !, SOLIDER IN THE RAIN, and RALLY ‘ROUND THE FLAG BOYS.

    1. Hey Greg….thanks for the thoughts on Tuesday Weld. Tally count….10 for me, 9 for you. Not thinking the regular commenters have figured out I have been adding lots of new pages in July. So this page was not pushed at all (no Post of the Day, no social media sharing).

Looking For Mr. Goodbar is her Oscar nominated performance….but it is far from my favorite Weld movie….that would go to The Cincy Kid or Thief. Thief is one of my brother’s Top 3 movies. I did not like Soldier in the Rain….McQueen is awesome…but comedy was not his biggest strength. Good stuff.
