Check out Warner Baxter’s career compared to current and classic actors. Most 100 Million Dollar Movies of All-Time.
Warner Baxter, is the # 82 most connected actor of the 1930’s, and the # 90 most connected of the 1920’s.
“Come and meet those dancing feet on the avenue. I’m taking you to Forty-Second Street.” Whoa I’ve only seen one film out of the 60 listed on the chart – 42nd Street, which is a favorite.
There’s a bunch on there I wouldn’t mind watching some day including The Prisoner of Shark Island, Slave Ship, West of Zanzibar, Road to Glory and The Cisco Kid.
Nice work Bruce. Vote Up!
My favorite Warner Baxter film is The Prisoner of Shark Island. The only Warner Baxter films I have are the all-star short the Slippery Pearls and the immortal Vogues of 1938.
Warner was never on the Oracle of Bacon but he has a few more connections than Marion Davies (well he appeared in films for 12 more years after her).
